Homework Over Christmas Break

You know,

Why do teachers give tons of homework over Christmas Break? They know we have so much stuff to play and lots of food to eat, that we would forget doing homework up until the last day before we go back. Here are some tips that I've came up with to avoid the "last-day-before-going-back-to-school-and-homework-isn't-done-chaos"

1. Setup a non-busy day (it could possibly be the last day of school before winter break, or a few days after Christmas but definitely before New Years Eve.

2. If possible, ask your teacher what they have planned for you to do over the winter break. That is why they keep planners. Some teachers love eager beavers and will tell you the assignments. Some might know what your trying to do and derail your early train but hey, you don't know until you ask.

3. Let your relatives know that you will be doomed with homework, and might not 100% participate in a few activities. If they are aware, then they cannot bug you about doing something because they know you are busy. Explaining to them about your schoolwork will show an awesome amount of responsibility, and they will more than happy not bother you... but there are a few exceptions to this rule unfortunately. It might not work.

4. Ask the teacher if the class can get a head start on their assignments if they agree to try to attend school on the last day before winter break. Some Parents use the last day to travel because of the holiday traffic, but you have no control over that, but for others, some students stay home or just roam around the halls when they could use this valuable time to extend their winter break. Trust me, this works because most teachers don't really want to do anything on the last day.

Happy Holidays and Good Luck!
